DETAILED ITINERARY |

Day 1: Arrival - Vientiane
You are warmst welcomed by our guide on arrival at Wattay Airport and transferred to hotel. The charming and fascinating capital of Laos, Vientiane is a small city conjuring up exotic images, with the curious mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese,Vietnamese, French influences.
• Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple still standing in Vientiane. This amazing structure features remarkable frescoes and Buddha statues.
• Haw Pha Kaew which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image.
• Patouxai standing in Lane Xang Avenue. This imposing monument is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triomphe and provides a stunning views of the city.
• That Luang Stupa

Day 2: Vientiane - Luang Prabang (B)
Transfer to airport for scenic flight to Luang Prabang and transfer to hotel. The royal capital of the former Lane Xang Kingdom, You are warmst welcomed by our guide on arrival at Luang Prabang Airport and transferred to hotel. The royal capital of the former Lane Xang Kingdom, Luang Prabang with its gleaming temple roofs, colonial architecture and stunning mountain backdrop, retains an unique charm rarely found in all Asia. An orientation tour around this picturesque town will give you the opportunity to chat with monks at a local temple. At sunset, ascend the 328 steps to the top of Phou Si Mountain that offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding rivers and cityscape. In the evening, wander through the bustling Night Market where ethnic hill tribe minorities peddle their wares of traditional costumes and handicrafts. O/N in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Luang Prabang - Pakou Caves or Tam Ting Cave - Luang Prabang (B,L)
Rise early at dawn to experience life as a local by watching monks in saffron robes going on their Alms Collection before visiting the local fresh market. Soak in the history of Luang Prabang at the Royal Palace, now the National Museum, Wat Visoun with its iconic Watermelon Stupa and Wat Aham. Watch the adept skills of weavers as they demonstrate the significance of Silk Weaving in Lao culture at the Ock Pop Tok gallery where you will be inspired to design your own scarf.
Afternoon, gently cruise down Mekong River to admire the startling collection of gold-lacquered Buddha statues of all shapes and sizes nestled deep in the massive limestone caverns of the Pak Ou Caves. Free Traditional Laos Message. O/N in Luang Prabang.
Day 4: Luang Prabang - Khouang Si Waterfall - Luang Prabang (B)
ery special (optional) dawn visit before breakfast to witness the long lines of orange-robed monks leaving their pagodas to receive offerings of food from Luang Prabang residents. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy a visit to Kuang Si Waterfall, south
west of Luang Prabang with stops en-route to visit some ethnic minority villages. It is possible to walk to the top of the falls via a steep track and if the weather is good swim in the clear water at the foot of
the falls. Return to Luang Prabang. Rest of the afternoon free at leisure. O/N in Luang Prabang.
Day 5: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng - By Car 230 kms (B)
Mid morning depart for a drive down spectacular Route 13 towards Vang
Vieng. Continue to Vang Vieng, nestled along the Nam Song River and framed by
spectacular karst formations housing numerous caves. Visit Tham Jam Cave in the afternoon and stroll through town along the Namsong River.

Day 6: Vang Vieng - Nam Ngun Lake - Vientiane - By Car 160 Kms (B)
Heading out of town Mid morning leave in direction of Vientiane with a stop for lunch at
the man-made Nam Ngum Lake, created by a hydroelectric dam. The
crystal-clear waters are inviting for a swim. After lunch, continue
towards the capital city Vientiane. O/N in Vientiane
Day 7: Vientiane - Pakse - Wat Phou - Khong Island (B)
Take a morning flight to Pakse. Overland route to Khong Island "the Land of Four Thousand Islands" En routeto Champassak districk to visit Wat Phu temple, archeological site built in 6th century by Khumer people. It is a preangkorian temple intend to Brahmanism practices of the people living in the Champapura city. Indeed, when research was undertaken by UNESCO in the area surrounding Wat Phu temple, a former city was discovered and presently hide under the ground by the time. Then continue to visit Wat Ou Moung, a religious sanctuary located close to the Mekong river and related to Wat Phu temple history. Arrive late afternoon at Khong Island "the Land of Four Thousand Islands". O/N in Khong Island.
Day 8: Khong Island - Ban Khone Island - Khone Papheng - Pakse (B)
Transfer to boat landing and downstream to Ban Khone Island. On the way natural beauty and ecology well preserved can be seen, and call too for relaxation. Visit the remains of French protectorate period: locomotive, bridge, railways…and Li Phi waterfall or "the Corridor of Devil". Then transfer to boat landing to upstream to Ban Na Kasang a fishery village and overland route to view Khone Papheng Waterfall, an impressive sight and wonder of the Mekong at that stage. Overland route to Pakse, arrives late afternoon. O/N in Pakse
Day 9: Pakse - Vientiane (B)
The bustling town of Pakse is ideally located at the confluence of the Mekong and Xedone Rivers therefore it is a gateway to southern region and nearby plateau. Today we enjoy a short walking tour to explore this riverside town before we travel by air back to Vientiane. On arrival you are greeted by our guide and head out to visit the giant Friendship Bridge which links Laos and Thailand, and the impressive Buddha Park. This landmark represents a curious blend of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by mystical monk on a parkland located by the Mekong River. We complete our tour of Vientiane with Wat Ong Teu and Wat Simuang. They are rarely seen in different trips. The perfect way to round off our day is to watch the spectacular sunset over the Mekong River from one of riverside bars. O/N in Vientiane. Day 10: Vientiane - Departure (B)
